Being modest should not be equated with "incapable of resisting carnal desires." Modesty is a good idea for both sexes and both sexes are capable of "carnal desires" as well as of suppressing them. It's not "the woman's fault" if she's flaunting it and something happens. (same as it's not a mans fault if he is flaunting it and something happens) But let's be honest: it may not be a good idea. This isn't blaming the potential victim, it's more of a forewarned is forearmed. You might like your gold chains, but it's a bad idea to walk in a crime-ridden part of town late at night wearing them.
